Will I Photograph Your Wedding? (No!)

Will I Photograph Your Dog's Wedding? (Yes!)

Here Are The Answers To Some Common Questions.

Do You photograph people, too?

My specialty is capturing your pet's personality and all the behaviours and expressions you love. I am always happy to include a few images of you or your family interacting with your pets; just promise not to be offended if I whistle and make funny noises to get your attention!

What happens after the session?

About a week later, I come to your home, and we go through your images together on a big screen. This is my favourite part of the whole process.

I use software that allows us to preview each piece to scale on your actual walls, so you can see precisely how that portrait will look above the sofa before you spend a cent on it. No guessing, no regrets, no pressure.

What if I don’t like any of the photos?

I stand behind my work 100%, with a risk free guarantee. If you aren’t happy with the images we create, I will schedule a complimentary re-shoot, or refund your session fees. Any printed materials purchased through me will be reprinted and replaced if you are not completely thrilled with them. I even offer a lifetime guarantee against common issues like warping, sagging, and fading — that’s how much faith I have in the professional print lab that makes my products. Check out my product guide here.

Can I just get all the digital files on a disk or usb stick?

My focus is on creating beautiful, heirloom-quality artwork that you will be thrilled to display in your home. The truth is, none of us needs more digital photos buried and forgotten on our phones or hard drives. You will only purchase the images you love, and those will be meticulously retouched and professionally printed on archival media to preserve your memories forever without fading, warping, or discolouring.

But can I share my images on social media?

I make sharing the love easy. That's why I provide a social media-sized digital copy with every print purchased. You will have the best of both worlds: A digital copy to enjoy on your devices and a hard copy that will outlast the current technology and become more priceless as the years go by.

But my dog can’t be off leash…

Believe it or not, most of the dogs you see on my website and social media were photographed with a leash, and I remove it afterwards, using a little Photoshop magic 😉. Even for running and action shots, we use a 40-foot lead to ensure safety.

The truth is, I prefer that your dog stays on-leash. For safety, of course, but also because even dogs with reliable off-leash recall won’t often stay where we want them. It is easier for me to remove the leash in Photoshop than it is to coax the dog back into position 17 times after he decides he needs to come give the photographer kisses every time I crouch down to take the photo!

My dog is untrained and doesn't listen. Will you still be able to create incredible images?

Welcome to the club! My own dogs won't be winning any obedience trials, either. I aim to work with your pet, not against them.

If you have an energetic dog who loves to run and play, let's head outside and create some fun action images! If your dog is reactive towards strangers or other dogs, we’ll pick a quiet location and take our time until they feel comfortable. I promise you will be amazed and delighted by your images, even if your pet is a wild child.

Do We Have To Come To Your Studio?

My lights, backdrops and gear are all completely portable. This allows me to photograph your pets in the comfort of their own home, yard, nearby park, beach, or trail that they are used to. Not only will your pets be more relaxed, but your images will show them in locations that are meaningful to you and will always remind you of the wonderful times you and your furry friends spent together.

I'm not in Moncton. Do you travel?

Yes. I am happy to travel throughout southern New Brunswick, including Saint John, Fredericton, Sussex, and most points in between. Tell me where you are, and we'll find a location near you.

It goes the other way just as often. Plenty of families make the drive out to the Bay of Fundy Area for their session, for the lighthouses, fishing boats, interesting rock formations, mossy forests, and tidal flats that go on forever at low tide. If those are the photos you want hanging on your wall, the drive is worth it.

Either way works. We'll sort it out on your planning call. Travel fees may apply for sessions outside of Greater Moncton and Albert County.

How Much Will It Cost?

That really depends on your budget and what you want from the session. Most of my clients spend between $1500 and $3500, but some spend a little less, and some spend much more! You can see starting prices for my products here, and I’ll be able to give you a better idea of what you might spend during your info call.

I think my pet has star quality, do you ever need models?

Sometimes I need a pet of a certain breed or skill set for a commercial photo shoot or personal project. Sign up to get occasional updates and make sure you don't miss Fluffy's big break!
