Our Pack Rescue Dogs
Athena, Iris, and Jasper are rescue dogs looking for forever families while in the care of Our Pack Animal Rescue, Moncton, NB.
Last week, I had the privilege of meeting and photographing these 3 lovely dogs for Our Pack Animal Rescue in Moncton, NB.
Athena is a 3 year old pitty mix who can be a little bit reactive with strangers and unfamiliar dogs at first. She was a little wary of us in the beginning, especially my partner Graham who was wearing a hat and sunglasses, but she warmed up quickly with treats! Athena would prefer to be the only pet in the home because she doesn’t like to share and will want her family all to herself. Once she knows you, she is a major cuddle bug.
Iris is a sweet and friend American Staffordshire mix. Not surprisingly, she can be a bit of a bull in a china shop, but she calms down nicely after a few minutes. Iris has some skin issues that are suspected to be caused by allergies, so she may require a special diet and ongoing veterinary care.
Jasper is a super handsome German Shepherd mix. He can be fearful when first meeting new people, but quickly transforms into a happy go lucky guy. His foster home has him involved in dog sports like flyball and canicross, and that is helping to build his confidence and socialization skills. He’d be a great dog for an active home that would like to continue participating in dog sports.
If you are interested in meeting any of these dogs, please contact Our Pack Animal Rescue for more info, and to see if they are still available. (These posts my not be updated when the dogs are adopted).
