2021 Pets of the Year

Congratulations to chocolate Newfoundland dogs Rosco, Daisy and Little Lulu, the winners of my first Pet of the Year contest! I couldn’t be more pleased that these 3 won. They are kind of local celebrities in Moncton, and Mom Stacey Butler is the most devoted pet parent you could imagine.

Rosco was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia as a puppy, and euthanasia was suggested. Stacey wasn’t having it, and got him the costly surgery he needed, as well as a pool with a lift for him so that she could do physiotherapy! Ultimately, her devotion to Rosco led to a change in careers for Stacey, and she became a dog groomer, opening her own shop, For the Love of Rosco dog grooming where she creates a peaceful and positive environment for large dogs who need a little special attention.

Beyond bragging rights, Stacey won a $1200 credit towards a large piece of wall art. I know this will go a long way towards getting her the piece she’s been dreaming of for the wall of her shop!
