My Images In 2 Exhibitions In Shediac

Three of my favourite images are currently on display in an exhibition featuring 12 artists who are accredited members of the Professional Photographers of Canada, Atlantic Region. This was a juried exhibit, which means that the images that were included were selected by a panel of trained judges from out of province. I’m so proud to be included, and also that 2 of my 3 images are the only pet portraits included in the exhibit!

“Take Me Home”, showing a scruffy rescue dog looking imploringly at the camera is one of my images that was selected for the PPOC Atlantic Exhibition at the Shediac Multipurpose Centre.

The exhibit is at the Shediac Multipurpose Centre until the end of June 2019, and features work from some amazingly talented photographers. If you are anywhere near the area, I highly recommend stopping in to check it out, admission is free.

Also at the Shediac Multipurpose Centre, I was one of the 13 photographers featured in the Perspectives Show and Fundraiser on May 31. Perspectives was a multimedia presentation, including images printed in various formats and others presented in slideshows interspersed with live musical and dance acts. The 13 photographers submitted their interpretations of 18 different themes, and true to form, I managed to stuff quite a few pet images in there! Ticket sales for the show, and bids in the silent auction raised around $3000 for the Beausejour Family Crisis Resource Centre.
